On February 27th, the spring activity of "Flowers Blooming in Lingnan, Mirror Images among Flowers" 2024 Guangdong Forest Culture Week was held in Zhuhai Lingnan Land Herbal Garden. According to the Provincial Forestry Bureau, this activity has been held for four consecutive years, focusing on excavating the Lingnan cultural resources with the characteristics of forestry flowers, continuously enriching the connotation of forest ecological culture, and accelerating the construction, governance and sharing of green and beautiful Guangdong by the whole people.

At this event, Liao Jingping, director of the Garden and Horticulture Research Center of South China National Botanical Garden, was invited to give a keynote speech entitled "Mirror Images of Flowers in Lingnan" and announced "Looking for Flower Traces and Green Beauty Guangdong Flower Viewing Lines". It is reported that this flower viewing route has been upgraded on the basis of last year, with the Green Beauty Guangdong Ecological Construction Demonstration Site as the main body, and five flower viewing routes with 26 flower viewing spots, such as "Huayang Yangcheng", "Flower Shadows in the Woods", "Flower Scenery in Western Guangdong" and "Flowers Like the Sea", have been upgraded, with detailed introduction of traffic routes, surrounding catering accommodation, viewing highlights and nodes, and recommendations of local characteristics, which have attracted many residents to compete. In addition, the activities of planting flowers and trees in spring were carried out at the event site, and citizens of Guangdong and Macao were invited to plant a piece of seedlings such as Gongfen Bauhinia together, and a new "Guangdong-Macao Ecological Forest" was added, which became the witness of forest cultural exchange between the two places.
