  The Municipal People’s Government approves the Provisions on the Authority of Price Supervision and Inspection of Beijing Price Inspection Institutions, which will be promulgated and implemented by your bureau.   Article 1 These Provisions are formulated in accordance with Article 27 of the Regulations of Beijing Municipality on Price Supervision and Inspection.

  Article 2 The price inspection offices of the municipal, district and county price bureaus and the price inspection offices of townships, towns and sub-district offices (hereinafter referred to as price inspection institutions) shall have the authority to conduct price supervision and inspection and handle price violations in accordance with these Provisions.

  Article 3 The price inspection agencies at all levels in this Municipality shall exercise their functions and powers of price supervision and inspection according to law, and have the right to supervise and inspect the implementation of price laws, regulations and policies by the competent departments of the people’s governments at the same level, the people’s governments at lower levels and enterprises, institutions and individual industrial and commercial households within their respective administrative areas.
