4. Diversified enrollment policy
In addition to marking enrollment, ordinary senior high schools also implement diversified enrollment policies such as index students, special students and recommended students to promote the diversified and characteristic development of senior high schools.
(1) Indicator students: No less than 60% of the enrollment plans of high-quality ordinary high schools in the region will be allocated to junior high schools as indicator students’ plans, and they will be appropriately inclined to weak junior high schools and rural junior high schools to promote the balanced development of compulsory education. The admission of the index students shall be controlled by the minimum score line, and the students shall be selected according to the candidates’ voluntary branch schools.
(2) Special students: students with special talents are admitted according to the enrollment plan of special students issued by the administrative department of education within the scope of qualifications recognized by the administrative department of education and according to the standards within the scope of policies.
(3) Recommended students: When enrolling students in senior high schools, they are particularly excellent in general quality, but during the junior high school academic level examination, due to objective reasons such as sudden illness or accidents, the junior high school graduates failed to complete the academic level examination normally or made obvious mistakes in their grades. Vocational colleges (including five-year vocational colleges, vocational colleges, urban secondary vocational schools and technical colleges) have special requirements for candidates’ professional quality according to their professional development and job requirements. 5. Standardize preferential treatment plus points.
According to the relevant requirements of the Ministry of Education to standardize bonus points, students’ relevant specialties and outstanding performances are included in the evaluation of students’ comprehensive quality, the preferential bonus points for high school enrollment are reduced and standardized, the bonus points are strictly controlled, and the publicity system for candidates’ bonus qualification examination is improved.
According to the relevant policies and regulations, the following preferential policies are reserved (if there are multiple preferential treatments at the same time, the highest preferential treatment will be taken without double counting):
(1) Children of martyrs;
(2) Sacrificing children of military personnel, children of disabled soldiers from Grade 1 to Grade 4, and children of active military personnel in the line of duty;
