The foundation of Zhangzha Town Primary School, located near the epicenter, collapsed and the wall cracked, which no longer met the conditions for starting school at the original site. Students were concentrated in Jiuzhaigou County No.3 Primary School to resume classes in different places for 2 years. After reconstruction, brand-new teaching rooms have sprung up in the original site. Jiuzhaigou Primary School is a key fortification building. The school has a nine-level structure with eight degrees of fortification, and all facilities and equipment are in place. With a total construction area of 8911 square meters, the project can accommodate 540 students in 12 classes, which can meet the one-stop education needs of children in the surrounding areas from kindergarten to primary school. The new campus adopts Tibetan architectural style, and the main building uses skylights and high side windows to increase the lighting area, effectively integrating the surrounding mountain space landscape. The student dormitory is built according to the standard of apartment dormitory, equipped with lockers, toilets, bathrooms and so on.
