According to preliminary investigation, 22,000 houses collapsed and were damaged. The damage of houses is being appraised, and the detailed disaster situation is still under further statistical verification. Relief materials such as tents, folding beds and quilts urgently allocated by the Emergency Management Department and the State Grain and Material Reserve Bureau arrived in the disaster area on the 18th and were distributed to the affected people in an orderly manner.

　　At present, the earthquake victims have been treated quickly, the affected people have been basically resettled, most of the power and interrupted roads in the disaster area have been restored, and the preliminary investigation of the disaster situation in 10 affected towns, 159 natural villages and 15 residential communities in Changning County has been basically completed, and the production and life in the disaster area are basically normal.
