CCTV News:Recently, a certain unit of Xigaze Military Division in Tibet launched a multi-course coherent competition assessment at a comprehensive training ground at an altitude of 4,300 meters to test and temper the actual combat capability of officers and men in the plateau environment.

The whole process of competition assessment is carried out on the plateau at an altitude of 4300 meters. The assessment subjects not only require physical fitness, but also test skills. At the shooting scene of light weapons, the officers and men participating in the competition have to carry 40 kilograms of ammunition boxes and sprint 50 meters to reach the shooting ground line to complete the shooting. The whole process should be completed within 4 minutes, and the shooting score should be above good before the next subject can be carried out. This is not only a test of the shooting skills of the contestants, but also a test of their physical and psychological qualities.

Due to the recent abnormal weather and heavy snow, the officers and men are facing the lack of oxygen in the plateau, and the cold weather also brings difficulties to the next armed cross-country and Grenade throwing courses.

It is understood that more than 600 officers and men from 16 teams participated in the assessment, including both party committees and grassroots companies. During the four-day examination, more than 20 subjects, such as light and heavy weapon shooting, armed cross-country, Grenade throwing, map use, equipment operation and special vehicle driving, were implemented in a coherent manner.
